yup. i can't believe it's over. my chalet, my actual birthday, everything that i anticipated.. all in the blink of an eye.
3 years ago.. i just turned 18. now i'm 21. an adult!! omg. it's so scary it's sad. 3 years ago.. rush kinda just opened and now it's gonna close down on sat!! *sobz* 3 years ago.. hmm.
i really hate how fast time passes. it seems like just yesterday i was 18.. and yet. all the memories since then? it feels like a dream.. i wanna slow time down can? if not before i know it i'll be old and wrinkly and regretting the things i did/didn't do. =(
i miss eating strawberry cheesecake ice cream. i'll never enjoy it as much again.
i'm 21. so many things have changed.. i've always said i hated changes. but if they're for the better then why not right?

genting trip!!!!
am i fast or am i fast? lolz. compared to the batam trip post lahz.. which i promise i will do soon. one day. genting first!!!
we left singapore at 10pm on 1st sep. took the grassland bus from golden mile complex. my baby so sweet last min surprised me by coming to send me off. =)

reached first world hotel around 5am. this time not as lucky as the first time i went.. we waited till like 10am plus to get a room!!

while waiting, we slacked at the ultra nice starbucks there. love the atmosphere. nostalgic. hmm. played alot of bridge..
then once the theme park opened we went to play all the indoor rides 'coz we still couldn't check in yet.
after we checked in went for the flume ride!! very excited 'coz i didn't get to sit this one the first time. i didn't take any photos 'coz i was afraid the camera would get wet. basically it's just a water ride.. go up a slope and then drop down. and get splashed by the icy cold water. fun fun!! even though we were soaked in rain. even though it was freaking cold. even though i saw her friend. it's funny how full of coincidences life is.
went for lunch at a horrible sushi place. never going back there again. then it's the outdoor theme park!!
isn't that bus totally cute? you can actually eat inside it if you buy food from them!!
the two scariest rides.. the corkscrew rollar-coaster and the free fall space shuttle. jace suddenly went mad and went to sit it by HERSELF again. sorry lahz gal.. my heart can't take it twice in one day. maybe next time k? then went for dinner at kenny rogers. hanged out at starbucks again. played MORE bridge.
then the whole casino fiasco. haiz. lost S$20 then someone wanna drag me out already lor.. hehe. but luckily everything settled on that night itself. i love having friends so close you can talk to them about anything, every problem can be solved. you know i love you guys so much!! no matter what.

the next day went to eat the very yummy dim sum and then back to singapore!~ all in all, it was fun.. but i somehow feel the first time was better. probably 'coz it was a new experience then. plus we all got kinda cranky after being up for so long. =x
anyway, for those of you kept in suspense for so long.. here's my baby..
yes yes, i know most people are like shocked that it's a guy. but i seriously don't understand why lor. not like i've been a passive my whole life. not like i've never had a bf before. not like i ever stopped liking guys. 2 years plus with a girl and everybody thinks i'm crooked for life. and i know everyone is happy.. but what matters most is me being happy right? we'll see how this goes.. so far so good.. i'm a lucky girl. but he's a luckier guy! hehe. =x
yesterday met mel at liquid kitchen for drinks. don't ever drink there!! we ordered a jug of baileys with coffee and the guy said he put EXTRA baileys for us. when it came, all we could taste was like COFFEE lor. imagine if he didn't give us 'extra'. actually it'd still be the same 'coz no matter what, only can taste the coffee!!! but the food not bad though.
after that went mos to meet my colleagues, sherlyn and SQ. it was alright lahz.. i miss rush lor!! so sad nowadays nobody wanna go chiong techno with me liaoz. =(

Ok, I know I haven't exactly been the best blogger in terms of posting regularly, but I've been busy!! Went to Genting the past weekend plus also have been spending lotsa time with my baby. =)
Will blog about the Genting trip ASAP k!! I know I haven't completed the Batam one yet so I'll probably just try to do them both together or something. In the meantime, here's something to keep you people occupied..
