as promised in fb

That's facebook for the benefit of people like Cammie and KJ.. LOL. Ok, anyway, I said on fb that if I couldn't sleep I'd blog a long long post so here I am.. Think I've been neglecting you guys actually.

But before I start PLEASE PLEASE help me vote on whether I should complete my post on the Bintan trip anot.. Even if you don't care just anyhow vote 'coz I took ages to put the damn poll up on my blog! It's below this post so help me decide k! Thanks. =)

Anyway, I think part of the reason I couldn't sleep was 'coz my stomach was making so much noise!! So I just ate an apple pie that I grabbed from Mac after chilling with my friend just now and now I'm so contented! Ok, I know thats totally redundant and boring stuff to blog about but I did promise a LONG post so have to talk nonsense abit right? Lolz.

K la actually just wanted to show you all HOW MUCH I ATE on Sat!!!

You see those plates of beef? I probably ate around 8-10 of that plus some lamb and pork among other things!! LOL. I was so sure that I'd put on 2kg the next day but I didn't!! I realised why when I read CLEO yesterday.. 'Coz beef is protein and it increases your metobolic rate!! Woohoo~ But of 'coz too much will still gain weight in the long run la. I think. Don't really wanna try. Aiya, actually the picture doesn't really reveal the true amount of food we ate.. 'Coz it's kinda small but I lazy to go upload again in a bigger format..

Oh ya.. People who went were Jace and Gary, Jas and Minghui, Shiwan and Zhiwei, Angele and me. See the connection? Yes, 3 couples plus Angele and me!! Lucky she came lor if not I think I wouldn't even have gone! Hai. More on that later/another time.

After that we went to the $10 club ktv at Chinatown. Yup, the name is really $10 club! Lol. But it was good la! $10 for 3 hours, free flow drinks PLUS one bowl of sharksfin!! Of coz it's those cheapskate pasar malam fake kind la but still.. Worth it lor! Some more the sound system not bad..

This pic was taken in the dark ktv with Zhiwei's ISO camera. I still dunno what ISO is but I'm guessing it means MAGIC!! Power la. The ktv was so damn dark, the camera didn't have any flash, and look at the image it captured! So bright and clear! I'm still kinda amazed. But apparently they say it costs alot alot of money, so ya.. I guess its meant to do that. Haha.

I'm so hooked to this new song that my meanie friend Yuanda intro-ed.. It's called [Xia Yu Tian] by Lara. But nobody sang it that day probably 'coz its too new or like Eric said, it's too hard to sing.. Got another song [Huai Ren] by Ah Bin also very nice! But also nobody sing. Lol.

So after KTV the rest kinda wanted to go home but me being me, wanted to go anywhere but home 'coz it was only 1am!! On a SAT NIGHT!!! So they suggested going to Club St to check out this atas bar but it was closed so we walked further down and found another atas bar called Savanh Bar. We were contemplating whether to go in anot when the friendly boss(?) told us there were 1-for-1 beers and that was all my alcoholic friends needed to hear to make the decision. LOL. I swear I so did not wanna drink la. 'Coz last Thurs I went BQ and drank 2 barrels with 3 other people and that was enough to make me not wanna drink for at least a week or two. Some more its beer leh!!! If its Martell it'd probably be a different story la.. Did I mention how much I miss Martell?? *sigh* Anyway, I digress..

So we went in and the decor was awesome!!! Found out that the place is actually a part of the IndoChine group. Nice music(they played R&B), nice ambience, cosy layout AND the toilets were so classy!! I got up to go to the toilet and when I saw it I immediately headed back to go borrow a camera to take a picture of it! LOL. Then all the girls followed me back to the toilet to check it out. Damn funny la..


This is where we were seated. It's actually on a platform and its more cosy than it looks. You all should go check it out yourselves to see what I mean.

The nice nice toilets! But these photos really don't do justice to the actual thing so go visit and see!!! Best thing is they absorb the service charge and GST!! It was $13 for a pint of Heineken but we thought plus plus will come up to $15+ but it was nett! So counting the 1-for-1 in, each of us only paid like $6.50 for a pint which is dirt cheap by Singapore standards la!! Ok, they should so pay me for the amount of advertising I'm doing for them.. LOL.

Actually got some more pictures but my friends haven't posted them on fb yet so I don't think I will post it la.. I tried searching the web for nicer photos but like their webby pix also not very nice.

Ok, that's it for Sat's post! Wanted to blog a little bit more but I think I shall leave that for the next time. ;)
